Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 slices bread -- toasted and cubed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup water -- lukewarm
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add beaten egg. Add water and mix well with wooden spoon. Add bread. Mix well and roll into 2 oblong dumplings. Place in boiling water, cover and cook about 10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
